The
5.8Ghz frequency is quickly adding many benefits for the Internet
Fixed Wireless wide area network design. Though this frequency
does not have the distance potential of the 2.4Ghz frequency,
it does provide another alternative for a point-to-point solution
within a crowded frequency environment. Providers are now
focused on this frequency as a better solution to the "last
mile" connection to the customer. As technology improves
and provides lower cost modem or radio products, this frequency
will certainly be included within the design requirements.
Unisyn will remain focused on the direction of the latest
technology involving this frequency and its overall participation
in Internet broadband network design.
