The
Next Internet Generation
Over
the past few years Internet communications has grown like
a great tidal wave sweeping across the entire world. It has
crossed over international boundaries in a single bound and
united languages, cultures, governments and multiple societies
with a single swoop. As the Internet sweep continues to gain
momentum, the technology that drives it continues to accelerate
at blinding speeds. The greatest technological challenge thus
far has been to effectively and efficiently develop cutting
edge applications capable of a timely delivery to the intended
recipient. Thus the Internet wave has two distinct unifying
needs.
- Applications designed to open and influence new markets and;
- A fast, secure Internet path to travel on.
Unisyn
Communications was developed to participate in the effort
to link these two waves together. Management believes to effectively
participate in this effort requires distinctive knowledge
and experience in both the application design process and
the path they travel on. Thus management has strategically
aligned itself to join an elite group of participants in both
website design and Internet access.
Wants
vs. Needs
The
latest news of failures in the Internet industry has caused
many of the analysts to review the future of the World Wide
Web and the attitudes of the next generation that will use
it. As information is gathered and assimilated, it is becoming
increasingly clear that the attitudes are centered more on
what an Internet user will want" vs. "need"
to justify the expense of becoming a subscriber.
Unisyn
believes that applications will determine subscriber attitudes
towards usage. Todays typical home Internet subscriber
currently uses the Internet for primarily e-mail communication
and entertainment. E-Mail communication does not require high-speed
or broadband usage to be effective. A smaller universe of
home Internet Subscribers use the Internet for entertainment
involving games and viewing highly graphically oriented websites.
However, business use of the Internet has become the primary
focus for broadband Internet providers. The choices for a
broadband subscriber are currently the following:
- Satellite- Used primarily in "very" remote areas where other broadband choices are not available.
- Cable- Used primarily by home users due to unreliable connections and security issues.
- Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL)- used primarily by both businesses and home users but still have questionable delivery connection issues.
- Dedicated Fiber- Used almost exclusively by businesses and is still the most reliable connection. However it is also the most costly high-speed connection.
- Wireless- Emerging as a high-speed use for both home and business use but still not as cost effective as DSL or cable for the home use.
The Unisyn Plan
Unisyn
is involved in the development of high-speed wireless solutions
that allow providers to deliver cost effective competitive
broadband access to business and home users alike. However,
the current Unisyn business plan will focus initially on business
use while participating in further technological developments
allowing a more cost effective solution in the home marketplace.
The Unisyn business plan includes technological partnerships
as well as provider partnerships to complete the circle of
the latest cutting-edge wireless design solution for both
the provider and end-user.
